Golden Teak Wood
Teak wood is moisture-resistant, enabling a multitude of uses in the nautical industry: floors, furniture, cladding, etc., and in other applications that need to function under difficult and extreme conditions.
During their growth cycle, teak trees undergo thinning and pruning processes, in which branches are removed to minimize knots and improve wood quality. Our Brazilian teak comes from plantations aged between 33 and 35 years, and we also work with imported teak sourced from Myanmar (Burma). Teak is a versatile and highly durable wood, resistant to a wide range of environmental conditions, including extreme heat and cold, as well as exposure to moisture, whether from rainwater or marine environments.
Golden Teak wood is reforested and for us at Listone, historically concerned with the conscious and sustainable use of wood, this characteristic is fundamental to the values that we exercise daily in almost a decade of history.
